Cameroon: Employers’ association organise conference to explore economic revitalisation

The Cameroon Business Group (Gecam) is organising the first edition of the Rencontres Economiques in Yaoundé from February 26 to 27 2025.

The theme of the event is ‘Relaunching the Cameroonian economy in the context of profound changes in the global economy According to the country’s main employers’ association, the aim of this platform for exchange and sharing between more than 500 participants, including business leaders, government representatives and international experts, will be to identify concrete solutions for revitalising and growing the Cameroonian economy in a complex global context. Tony Elumelu, Chairman of the UBA banking group, was chosen as special guest for this first edition.

In concrete terms, the event aims to provide innovative solutions for Cameroon’s economic development on a variety of themes. The programme includes workshops, plenary sessions, B2B meetings and exhibition stands.
