China-Africa: preparations for the major trade event in Changsha

From June 12 to 15, China will host the 4th China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo in Changsha, under the theme “China and Africa pursue the dream of modernization together”.

South Africa, guest of honor, will play a central role in this event, which aims to strengthen the integration of industrial chains between the two partners.

Over 12,000 participants from 44 African countries and 6 international organizations have already registered. This strong mobilization testifies to the growing importance of Sino-African trade relations, as China seeks to consolidate its position as the continent’s leading economic partner.

The promotional event held in Johannesburg highlighted opportunities for cooperation, particularly in the fields of infrastructure, technology and industrialization. Particular emphasis was placed on exchanges between Changsha and African countries, symbolizing a mutually beneficial partnership.
